CNY 2007

Still remember back then during December, I didn't feel like going back hometown for CNY because the air ticket was very expensive - RM300+ one way. But now I'm really glad that I did go back to celebrate with family and friends! 2007 Chinese was simply super FUN!

ZeGanG

Haha, don't know why the feeling of meeting up with all the GanG members is different this year, although everyone just apart from one another for half a year only. Haha, Connie said I've changed (just like last time after I went National Service), but seriously, I think I didn't change at all, still the same old me... slack-and-lazy etuc! I realise every did very well in their studies also... what am I doing over the past half a year?
Anyway, I spent almost the whole CNY with ZeGanG. Gather at Elaine's house, Chang Dick's house (almost overnight somemore =) ), visiting from house to house with everyone, taking group photos... very-very fun!
Hard to describe with words, everything can be telled from all the photos taken that time! Wah, start to miss ZeGanG leh... everyone is the gang is like know each other for more than 7 years, some more than 14 years, since kindergarden... wonder when will be the next gathering? =) Hehe.

Gained weight

WTH! I gained almost 7kg over the half a year here at Singapore! From around 53kg before I came, to 60 kg when I weighted myself at Chio Pang's and Chang Dick's house! OMG! I need to watch my diet liao... >.<

Family

Seems like the bonding become stronger between me with everyone at home, especially with daddy. The weird (negative) feeling towards him seem decreased a lot. After away from home, now I know that he did a lot of things for me, things that cannot be noticed easily. Wendy is not the sis I know last time, she has changed.

Grandma

Aiyaks, didn't spend much time with grandma during CNY this year. Should have use those sleeping time to talk with her. After all, she loves me the most among all the other grandchildren =). The coming 1 month holiday, I must spend more time with her!

Finally, Hall Production 06/07 Ends!

Kent Ridge Hall Production 06/07 - It's Your Choice!

So high lar after production finished today. Glad that after almost two months (1 month holiday and 1 month of Semester 2!!!) busing for all the “sai kang” (Stage Crew work), KR Hall Production finally comes to an end, a very very round ending.

COMPARE

Just like what other people says, I must admit that this year’s set wasn’t that “up to standard”, compared to last year’s. But we can’t possibly compare each year with another, right? Different batch have different different combination of members. The ideas and skill also different. And I must admit myself isn't really good compare to the ex-stage crew / RAGgers - I can only do things slowly and not-very-accurately…

Must thanks all the casts who put up a really great show! Scriptwriters who wrote this wonderful play for us. And the Rambutans (Instrumentalist) that comes out with the music! Can’t imagine how Hall Production will be without their superb contribution. The set’s “plain look” really covered up by their show.

CHOICE

I’m glad I’ve made a right choice! Spending holidays just to put up show for these two days! Really enjoy the time with team members, especially during the last few week, when more and more people came down. A lot lively compare to the beginning, where only 5/6 people around everytime. I learnt a lot during this period of time.

People always like to ask: so what do you learn from this?

Well, for me, I can’t really say out what I’ve learnt when prompt by people. One thing for sure, respects designer’s design! I guess this is the most valuable lesson I’ve learnt!

WHY ENTHU

I wonder why I’m so enthusiastic about Hall Production – especially Stage Crew… because of the impact RAGgers gave me during FWOC 06/07? Or is it because of “peer pressure” from my other friends in other hall? Or is it the “KR spirit” and rivalry between KR-SH that makes me feel like putting “everything in”… or is it purely interest? Or… POINTS! (definitely not!)… I don’t know, jus feel like doing it…

HARDWORK

2 months worth of hardwork get dismantled in 2-3 hours? Haha… don’t know what to feel anymore… =p

RAG

Looking forward to level-4000 RAG! Hope people from Stage Crew will join lor… will miss everyone in Stage Crew… why this year’s Stage Crew wasn’t that bonded together? I don’t want to work alone, with only few people, even just for the beginning of RAG…

Kent Ridge Hall Production

Tomorrow, 9th Feb, is THE DAY - Kent Ridge Hall Production!

After all the hard work since December, glad that its finally time to put 'em on stage! Although not very satisfied with the set we built, should be better considering the amount of time we spent on it, but still love the whole Hall Production!
Its crunch time now! Lets put through this together!
That's what Sebestian's 口头禅. Haha. True, this is the final moment. All the efforts every single one of us in Hall Production will be shown through the whole show. Stage, cast, instrumentalist...

Just came back from rehearsal and I'm tired now. Haha... =p

The cast gathered and discuss about their performance.

Photo taken during one of the rehearsals.

Cool eh? I like this photo!

Self Confidence

Sometime I really don’t know whether I should just speak up and tell others my opinion or not… or should I just stay quiet like most of the time…

There are many cases where I tell others about my idea, opinion, but only later I find out that they are more expert and experience than me; only later I find out that they are what-what scholars; only later I find out that they are what-what CAP 5.0 holders; only later I find out they are what-what national representative... feel that I over expressed myself in front of them, 班门弄斧 in front of them... people haven’t speak then I ciplak-ciplak there nonsense...

Maybe I shouldn’t “try to speak more”...

Hmm, first time I feel that I must have my own 主见 – Stay like what I used to be, quiet and low profile little boy at side. Refrain myself from talking too much... too much silly talks that make myself look silly...

Life is complicated... can never know what is “correct” and what is “wrong”…

Countdown to Kuching n CNY

Twelve more days to go. I wonder hows everything at home.

CNY

I wonder how this year's CNY will be. Really want to meet up with GanG and friends, but don't know how-and-what to react when meet them later... haha...

I wonder will everyone walk from house to house to visit friends and teachers?

Argh, kind of like lost contact with all the Stampin friends. Remember followed them to visit friends' house in Hui Sing once back in lower secondary school. But as I'm quite a passive (or shy whatever...) person, I tend to sit at a side and didn't talk much. Even if I talk, I feel like I'm talking nonsense... (hmm, I'm a weird person...)

CNY Countdown = 13 days
CA Countdown = 21 days
(aiks >.<)

At last... Esplanade, Merlion

Finally, after more than half a year in Singapore, I finnally got myself to Esplanade and Merlion there. (Pity huh? Ha).

Anyway, Hock Siang and another Penang friend came to Singapore today. So, me, Kee Han, Zhiwei, and a few more friends bring them around NUS and city center.

At first, we wanted to go old-market (老巴刹) to taste the food there. But in the end, everyone decided to go back since its too late already. Hock Siang and his friend need to go back to Causeway before 11pm, when all the public transport stop operating.

Moon 2020

Three decades after the Apollo mission, or what people refer to as “The Race to The Moon”, become inactive, NASA announced that they are scheduling for the next moon landing, as well as building a permanent base at the moon.

NASA’s moon plan

2010 – Complete International Space Station.

2020 – “Return” to the moon.

The first human on moon is Neil Armstong, followed Buzz Aldrin, who stepped on moon only few seconds behind Neil Armstong. But people only remember Neil Armstrong…

Tablet PC

I thought I made the right choice for choosing a normal laptop back then during matriculation. During Hall Production rehersal just now, I realise that I can do a lot of things with Tablet PC, do tutorials, write notes, and most important - DRAWING!

Should have just add another SGD200 for the Fujitsu Tablet PC...

It's all about choices isn't it...
