GRSS Choir RoCkZ!

Follow mom's car to GRSS around 0640 this morning. When reach the back gate, those duty prefects were so surprised when they saw me wearing SCHOOL UNIFORM with my PENGAWAS TIE on (couldnt find my green tie, cause so long din use and forget where I keep it =p)... Choir members gathered in front of the side notice board at Blok Pentadbiran... after that, they went into AVA to prepare and warm up their voice.

They got onto the bus and set off to St Teresa around 0800. I was waiting for ChangDick at bus-stop that time. Not long after the bus left, ChangDick reached with WeiLoong and Angelina. ChangDick was wearing uniform, just like me, while Angelina and WeiLoong wear smart smart, acting like they are the teacher in-charge of GRSS Choir =p haha... kidding...

Competition starts at 0910. Originally, there are total of 6 schools compete to win as Kuching representative, but SMK Jalan Arang quited last minute, so left 5 groups: St Teresa, St Mary, SMK DPHAG Stampin, GRSS, and Kolej Abdilah.

St Teresa was the first school to perform. Somehow, their performance was much terrible that last year. hmm... dont know why... didnt expect them to do so badly.

After was St Mary. St Mary still maintained their 'quality' as last year, maybe improved? haha... at least they gave everyone a good show. NICE and SWEET their voice.

Stampin and Kolej Abdillah wasnt really good. They arent sing like what a choir group should... hey, not that I think I'm pro or something, just that they really sing like 'class choir'...

GRSS Choir? hmm, good! hehe... the songs was nice... and their voice was harmony together too... hehe... true bar... haha...

20060504 Choir Competition at St Teresa

After the the last performance by Abdillah, everyone already know the results: Either GRSS or St Mary will win no#1... and St Teresa will get no#3... Its very obvious....

Around 1030, after the judges gave their commments, the MC announced the result... Tempat kedua........St Mary!!! hah... at that moment, GRSS Choir members all are very sure that GRSS Choir gets no#1 for the year 2006 in Kucing District AGAIN!... =) feel proud for them =)

ChangDick sent me home after that. Got to get the recordings by WeiLoong soon! I want to listen-and-listen again and again! haha... Istana Ratu and Look To The Rainbow by GRSS!
