Alumni Dinner

Weeee... had our alumni dinner yesterday night. Seniors, even those from year 02, came. Somehow this year a bit different from last year. Still fresh in mind hows the supper last year was and their reaction when we explain our design idea to them.

The dinner started around 8. (We started cooking around 4). Then Comm intro. Followed by seniors intro (the year they join + most memorable experience). Then "dance pk" between seniors and juniors. boonsern & yingjia quite sporting (unlucky at the same time - kena asked to dance as soon as he arrive in dining hall) to PK with Kam and weili. then... tour time.

Feedbacks for this year quite okay I would say. A lot of suggestions / comments. Sounds promising.

Just an update.

Looking forward to Week 6. Will definitely finish structure by end of next week!!! Then can happily go for outing!

Supper + Karaoke

Cindy's birthday today. Celebrated her birthday in dinning hall during supper. We forced her to play cherry game with bouncer (chun hao) and Kris.

Had chop-chop mini karaoke session after that. 'Couple' (those scandaled people) duet in fact.
First we have bouncer and Cindy.
Then I 猜拳 with Jeffrey, of course I win! =) So Jeffrey and Si Min need to sing. Wah, never know Si Min can sing that well. Completely stunned when start singing. Really amazed!
Then Yee Cheng 猜拳 with Yvonne. Yee Cheng won! So Yvonne had to sing with Jia Wei.
Then I 猜拳 again with Wilson. Ah, but this time I couldn't 慢半拍. Caught red handed when trying to cheat. So, just guai guai sing with Yee Cheng lor.
After that, Wilson 主动 sing with Tina. Hah, don't know all the songs (珊瑚海）from Youtube streamed so slow that time. So they had to keep repeat the songs all over when the song stopped half-way. =p

Quite fun. Think this year's people really know how to enjoy. Everyone quite cooperative in hyping up the atmosphere. =)

West Coast Outing

Went West Coast with comm comrades just now. We stopped at Macs before going over to the park. Haha, quite fun. Judging from the crazy-shouting of Kris, Nia, Yvonne, and Cindy, guess everyone enjoyed themselves. Ohya, even Hui Lian 海带-ing with them!?! Haha.

Storm is coming. Week 6. Hope everyone can hang in there till Aug. Give a big ending blast on The Day. =)

Happy Father's Day

Brother's post reminds me bout the past. Those bitter memories: Waiting time after school/tuition, the chopped-into-four-pieces computer cable, the harry-potter-wound after quarrel...; Those sweet memories: culture village + damai, 三字经, 佛经, trouble-to-send-me-to-school, trouble in helping me to get scholarships/loans...

Being away from home makes me able to put myself in his shoe, at least be able to understand (not fully yet, maybe some) the hardships he went through to bring me up.

I wonder if I bare the stubbornness of my kids in future if they are as stubborn + naughty as me...

Daddy, 您真伟大。佩服，佩服...

The "失业率" is on the fly lately... the pihak atasan should do something about it. I mean, try to create more "job opportunities" and maximize the man power available. Feel like very wasted when seeing people idle about around, have nothing to do.

Need proper planning, seriously...

Had committee meeting today. CZY updated everyone on the organization hierarchy. How each and everyone of us interrelated to one another. We also try to identify the underlying problems so far.

Hmm, this year seems a lot more organized. Kinda like and enjoy myself so far (although sometimes a bit mang zhang bout those who don't do things efficiently, proactively, and think-ahead-ly. Yish, talk like I'm very good likethat...)

Meanwhile, theres something to look forward in end of June! Bet everyone is the same =)

Committee Shoot

Flee Market + Arab Street

Went flee market with Weliam, Juncheng, Vania, HueyLian, Mai.
After that, we went Arab Street to buy cloth.

Karang Guni + Orchard shopping

Went Karang Guni this morning, 12pm-4pm. First shift leave around 10.30am while second shift left around 12pm (suppose to be 11am, but got delayed) . I'm in the second shift.

Wah, we sat behind lorry all the way there. The worst thing is that it rains when we go and back there. =.='

Anyway, we went Orchard for dinner + midnight shopping. We ate at Fish and Co. After that we went to Wisma for shopping.

The sien-est things is the electronic-bus-arrival-time board suan-ed all of us when we waiting for 143 to come back hall. At first the board showed that there are 2 buses arriving in 3 and 15 minutes. After a while, it shows 5 and 15. Then 8 and 15... wtf?!? Then, first bus disappeared. The arrival time for the second bus slowly decreased to 3 minutes... but... it 'stucked' there for a very-very long time. In the end, it disappeared ALSO!?!
We have no choice but to take taxi back. S$12 for mine, S$14.4 for YC's and S$16 for Si Min they all. ( Sometimes, I feel that the fares are higher if all girls take the same taxi... issit 比较好骗?)

Anyway, they all sang birthday song for me at bus stop! Ah, just imagine the attention they drew from the crowd from Orchard bus stop. Ah, I stunned totally, don't know what to do...
Anywayz, really appreciate their 'effort'. Its certainly a different way celebrating birthday. Every year sure got surprises. nostalgic eh?
