Celebrate Weliam's birthday just now, at Zhaoyuan's room.
YeeCheng went out to buy cake for him, from Secret Recipe. Chocolate mud, something like that.
Almost everyone was there, except Weili. King joined us a while after everything started.

Sense of Achievement
Felt the sense of achievement, recognition after successfully set up the computer for hall admin. Its not a very complicated task, but just happy to be able to help others. Its just typical me, the assist type.

Been wasting my time doing nothing for the past week. Think I need to reorganize myself...
Things that I want to accomplish by the end of this Sem.
1. Studies, 3.5. Complete all software engin + FPGA projects!
What the hell am I thinking, I am a student. Study should be my first priority
2. Understand more about photography and DSLR
I'm in KR Photocomm for 1 year, yet my understanding about photography and DSLR is so little. The photography workshop that that taught (refreshed) me a lot about photography. And the visit to clubsnap.com these few days made me realize that all my photos for the past 1 year is so lousy: Wrong camera settings (apperture, shutter...), wrong subject placement...
3. Infotech, badminton, Chingay.
These are the committees that I want to join!

Kelchoo -> China
Went lunch with KelChoo, Weliam, ZhaoYuan, Jeffrey at Anchor Point just now. KelChoo will be going China for 2 years ,working.
Everything is on KelChoo. We ordered a quite a number of side dishes. Very very full. (Partly because I lost appetite that time also, not sure why...)
After that, we went Queensway. KelChoo wants to collect him FYP Thesis. Wah, the Thesis was made into a book, like those we find in library. Solid hard black cover, with Golden wording. (just that the alignment of the content not very thesis-like... haha). Anyway, nice Thesis, I'll make sure mine at least that kind of standard.

Photocomm Supper
Had our steamboat supper just now at B-block kitchen. Dexiang, Yiling, Xinyi, Yuhang, Ee Lyn, Alvyn, Desmond, Arthur was there.
I didn't eat much, no 胃口 leh...
I went there around 8.50 and left around 9.40. Went back to badminton trials.

new MSN Messenger Version 2009 (beta)
Just installed MSN Messenger version 2009. Hmm, added all the functions that I've been looking for all these while:
- Groups
- "Whats new"
- Sign in from multiple computer.
Of course, added new "scene layout" and Display Sound which i'm not really interested.
Enough, screenshots worth thousand words.

Group chat, with (maybe) definable group details.
Converting a category to group.
Cons: Need the other party to accept through email; Most people will think the invitation email as those junk mails.

Sign in from multiple computer!!!
Pro: No longer need third party software to store/merge my chat logs. =)
Cons: Will not be able to receive 'offline message' because the other computer is signed in.
Whats new: Recent contact updates, include personal message, display picture and display name.

Back at Kuching
=)
Finally, back at home, after 2 1/2 hours of freaking-rush-journey to Senai Airport.
I will never book flight which is at 6-9pm period. Because... Causeway is way too jammed at that time >.<
Anyway, went straight to eat Kolo Mee at Hui Sing Garden after touch-down. Bought an oreo McFlurry at airport also =) Dont know why I'll have the 冲动 to buy Macs when come back to Malaysia. Maybe because its cheaper here? haha
Hmm, grandma looks very old now, compare to 3 months ago. People do age very quick eh? I don't know how to explain, the changes is just very drastic.

[Chingay] updates
KRhome was mounted onto the Chingay lorry already when we meet up with Chingay organiser at PA this afternoon, 4pm.
Most of the claddings were cui already, for statics. But still okay lar, need to touch-up around 20% of the damaged claddings.
Hmm, need to form committee or at least hold meetings to discuss about layout of the whole float before meeting contractor asap.

PostRAG Outing - Batam, Indonesia
Went Batam with RAG comrades during weekend. Weliam, Zhaoyuan, JeffT, JeffK, JeffK's gf, YeeCheng, Simin, TinaBeh, Jiawei, Cindy, Yvonne, Weijian, Weili, HueyLian.
I think the thing that I enjoyed the most is Banana Boat.
Hmm, guess I didn't enjoy THAT much. Don't know why very mang zhang during the trip. Tried to be friendly to everyone though...

KRhome off to Kallang
Saw one of weliam's post: off-to-kallang...
KRhome at Kallang 了!!! Along with Christmas Reverie (Eusoff's).
Going Chingay has been one of my dream after I saw KRonos displayed at PS and subsequently being modified to showcase to public during Chingay 2 year back.
To me myself, Chingay doesn't really mean anything at all. Sometimes I wonder, whats in it for me (computing student) actually?

Maybe ,what I really hope for from Chingay is to uphold KR's (especially KR RAG Committee's) reputation while I'm around, still staying in KR. Don't know why, my feeling towards KR and RAG is similar to the feeling of 爱国精神 that teacher teach in primary and secondary school. The love that makes me willing to sacrifice for 'em...
