Desktops v1.0

This is something I have in my comp quite long ago. Virtual desktops for windows. It allows users to activate up to 4 virtual desktops.

Its actually identical to Linux and Mac's virtual desktop. And whats cool about it? There is no installation required and its only 62Kb.

The only downside of this is that there is not way to remove a Desktops object once its actiavated. Make sense, since it can't be installed anyway. The only way to remove is to logoff.

Back from Aranda

Enjoyed myself at Aranda Country Club with YC and raggers. Basically the whole trip is watch movies (Transformer1 and Transformer2) + BBQ + Games + Card Games + Dota + Sleep, then come back. :)

Watched Transformers2 at Catay Cineplexes, Downtown East. The actions are fantastic, no doubt about it. But the plot has a lot of loop holes, unexplainable actions (this is a good QnA http://bit.ly/xAThE: RT @mrbrown: http://bit.ly/xAThE Transformers 2 FAQ (contains spoilers!)). And... ah, theres just too much of jokes in the movie! To me, Transformers suppose to be something COOL, packed with actions. Its one of my childhood superhero...

A bit dissapointed.

Anyway, read the FAQ, pretty funny :p

[Updates] intern

The third day at work. Basically, I'm on my own. Planning on what I'm going to do each day in order to achieve the the product that the company intends to develop.

Its kinda blur-ish, don't have a absolute direction. Its totally different from those competition projects where theres a guideline for you to follow and also I can't affort failure - out of the competition, then can just forget it.

Just hope that what I have scheduled can lead me to where I'm suppose to be going...

Node Power Outlet Makes Power Strips Almost Useless [Design]

Got this from Gizmodo.

Rob at Boing Boing Gadgets thinks that Node—a power outlet that can accept several cables safely—may be the power outlet of tomorrow. I completely agree with him.

If you live in the US or Japan, that is. [Metaphys via BBG]

This is so cool!

I thought

For all these while, I thought you were stronger than YC. Not sure what changed you, and I know its not the reason that you've told us. But I hope you will back to the team with full strength, the team that need you the most at this point of time and onwards.

Or, at least... have the sense of responsibility to the things that you started, and to those that are under this major committee.

Its a community project, not just any other CCA.

RE: THE MODERN MIDDLE KINGDOM by TDM

Got nothing to say after reading the post by TDM and the comments by fellow Malaysian in TDM's blog at Chedet.co.cc

For point number 4 made by TDM, I think even if those Malays in Sg really feel for their existence as minority in Sg, they will still rather stay in Sg than migrating to Malaysia. This is because their standard of living and status in society is way better than those Malays in My.

After browsed thru the lost list of comments, this is the only comment that caught my attention.
Malaysia should learn from Singapore:-
1. Singapore led by LKY has less corruption, unlike BN & UMNO gov.
2. Singapore regarless Malay, Indian, Chinese, Mat Salleh, they called themself Singaporean. Malaysia politician keeps remind you have different race, different rights & different status.
3. Singaporean has higher living standard & income
4. Singapore crime rate much lower compares to Malaysia, a safe country for its ppl
Malaysia BN gov has failed to achieve all these important things for Malaysian

Malaysian should stand together for the better of the country.

Pre-Birthday Outing

Date: 31st June, 2009

Happy that she planned and bring me out for kai-kai and meals on Sunday. Understand that she will be busy on Monday, so Sunday is the only time that she can accompany me out to enjoy.

Went dim-sum at Yum Cha, Chinatown in the morning.

After that, me n YC went to Orchard to kai-kai. Look at all the Gundam Models at Takashimaya! and I bought a pair of Berkenstock sandals. =)

Then we went Ginza Plaza, West Coast for ice-cream at MOS =)

Dinner with fellow raggers at Thai Express, Ginza Plaza. =)
