3rd -ve point in my NUS life

Haih, this is the third "lost point" that I've collected in my NUS life.

Got caught/controlled throughout the game. Totally off-formed - Can't get the shots correctly. Helpless of not to be able to drop, and this limits my shots and makes an average guy like me useless in the court.

Just feel sad to not be able to give a good fight.

Gotta correct my strokes, and especially drop and chop by the next game. I gotta win at least one game in my NUS life.

Coke's New Bottle Going Green

The label of a new Coca-Cola bottle that is partly derived from sugar cane even though it feels and functions like a regular plastic soda bottle.

Coca-Cola Co., under fire from environmentalists for using plastic bottles, has introduced a new packaging material made partly from plants. The container has "the same weight, the same feel, the same chemistry, and functions exactly the same way"...

... Coke Chairman and Chief Executive Muhtar Kent calls the new container, which uses material derived from sugar cane, "the first generation of the bottle of the future."...

... The new plant-based bottle developed by Coke is composed of 70% petroleum-based and 30% sugar-cane-based materials...

...爸爸鼓励我申请新加坡永久居民的时候，心里是十分不愿意的。但是在看看近年来所发生的事件，往往都是种族之间的利益冲突与压迫，让我不得不承认我必须为自己打量将来的路。另一方面，心中却想回到这块土地，将自己贡献给它。

当听见姐姐要为小孩申请美国公民权的时候，心里也是起了疙瘩。无可否认，父母总是为了孩子好，尽量做出最有利于小孩的选择。但是，我心里另一种声音却出现了：如果我们的下一代都走了，谁来改变我们亲爱的土地？如果我们离开了这里，我们的根又是在哪里？

在上海外华人课的问题浮现在我的脑海里：我们的身份认同是什么？我们应该要以什么身份自居？...

1. 读了朋友写的这么一篇文章。
2. 不得不承认自己国家目前的状况十分腐败（政治，人民意识。。。），也不会在近期内有所改善。
3. 我非常赞同政府把才子送到国外深造。
4. 盼有朝一日，他们会回国，把所学习的知识，学问引回国，改进亲爱的土地。
5. 只希望亲爱的土地也能在这期间自我成长，放广思想意识，排除不平等待遇的宪法。。。
6. 唯有这样，欣欣学子才会/有机会回到亲爱的土地的怀抱。
