#OpMalaysia outcome


Note: For those who aren't IT savvy, most of the hack are not really 'devastating" in the sense there are no "data deletion". Mostly are just website deface, and information release. This can be easily recover.

As of June 16, 8.30am (GMT+8), among the sites which were hacked by Anonymous are:

The main target(s), www.malaysia.gov.my remain inaccessible, most likely due to DDoS attack.

  • 3456 accounts were compromised and 392 were released.
  • System info were released, along with the Database username and password.
  • (I wonder why there are Schemas with the name "ahmoi" ?!?)

Apparently, there are other groups which are active on hacking Malaysian sites as well, e.g. RelekCrew for example.
