“If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” ― Martin Luther King Jr.
A friend that I'm working with posted this in his weekly update to all the team members.
Saw a friend posted her trip to Trump Tower for finalizing deals with the Trump Team. Really amazed by her.
I think she's the first person among my secondary school friends who has the opportunity to meet Donald Trump, or any successful multibillionaire like him.
Still amazed. Haha.
Hope this be an inspiration for me and my other friends to work hard and strive for the best everyday!
Robert Whitworth Photography took 5 months and 400 hours of solid work to create this video. He used 4 cameras (a Nikon D800, two D7000s, and a D3200) and 5 lenses (16-35mm, 10-24mm, 70-200mm, 50mm, and 10.5mm) during 40 different shoots. In the end, he had 19,997 separate photographs weighing a total of 640 gigabytes.
Very inspiring speech from Jack Ma. A very humble guy.

Some of the insightful points:
Embrace change. Change is the best plan. But you don't want to lose your own sense of direction
"Why are you not promoting political reform?" I would say: "Is there anything that you can do about it?" So what if we changed the system? And most people who asked this question already have foreign passports. It's easy for them to flee the country. The don't have to be responsible for any consequences.
Luck is very important. Without it, I wouldn't have gotten this far. Or course, you can't wait for luck. Because it won't come. While you start a journey, luck may eventually come to you. Luck is an interesting thing. It's like seeds that have to be sown. Luck and wealth are the same.
We need to turn our dreams into dreams of our society and nation. Sometimes a country's dream can be quite successful. But does it have anything to do with you? Not necessarily. But when everyone's dream come true, society will also prosper.
Coming here tonight, I want to especially thank one person, and that is Silicon Valley... without those traffic and street lights in Silicon Valley, without those people chatting in late-night restaurants, without those encouragement and intensities, we'd never be where we are today.

and some humorous jokes:
At Harvard I said "I never plan," not "we never plan."
Some people believe in God or Buddha, but I'm still shopping around.
