Angel and Mortal Dinner
Event: KR A-Block : Angel and Mortal Dinner

Finally, the long awaited Angel and Dinner for my Block (A Block) is here! Around 1800, every A-Blocker mortal gathered at the lounge at third floor before head up to roof top to identify their Angel!
Actually, I roughly know my Angel's identity since the second letter she wrote to me. Ha, she told me about the committees she joined. So after doing some research in Internet, I found out her identity. But I was not very sure at that time, don't dare to jump to conclusion so fast.
Few days before the Angel and Mortal Dinner, Kim (Kim Sin Tae) posted a list of all the seniors with the committees and sports they joined! So after look at the list, I'm 100% sure that HaiLin is my Angel! Ha, no one else joined the same committees and sports she join. Hehe.
Anyway, I gave her a soft toy and a photo frame with her DND photos in it. Hmm, took me quite some time to think of giving her that actually. She gave me a 'fierce' shirt in return. Hehe. Gosh, the shirt is very 'fierce' with the scull design on it. Haha, but I like it lor, since I don't have any 'fierce' shirts yet.
The dinner is just normal dinner acutally. The ABC (A Block Committees) brought the food from dining hall to the roof top to serve to everyone. Hmm, the food was not bad, just that I regret I took 'a bit' small portions only. EAT NOT ENUF! Haha.

After the dinner, theres a small Award Giving Ceremony for those who performed 'extraordinary' during IBG. The prices include:
1. Motherly-Hand award (Prize: An egg)
--> Natalia (Because she always take care of those who got injured during IBG)
2. A Block Alarm (Prize: A lighter; Reason: Fire Alarm...)
--> Melissa (You will know once she scream...)
3. The Most Enthu Mentor (Prize: A mentos...)
--> Ivan (He is the mentor for most of the sports!)
4. There But Not There Award (Prize: An empty box; Reason: Have but don't have)
--> Aaron (Hmm, he always arrived late and leave early?)
5. Pageant
--> Roy

After the award giving ceremony, we got a small election for another Block Committee. Guess what, I was selected! So happy! Hehe. Can't wait for the first Block Comm Meeting to actually know what are the activities planned for A Block for the this and the next Semester.
Hmm, I promised that "I will make A Block a better place for everyone"... Got to start planning now...

Event: Kent Ridge Hall (KR) - Inter-Block Games 06/07 (IBG)

Distance: appx. 2.2km

Yeah, KR IBG 06/07 finally ended with the last event - Road Race! (Actually the second half of Guys Handball between A-Block and E-Block have not finish due to the rain that day.)
KR IBG Road Race this year is a relay event and 6 runners were selected from each block. Road Race started off with girls. Guys only start after the last-second runner reach.
A-Block runners:
1. Ivan
2. Binghan
3. Euwin
4. Haoxiang
5. Tzewee
6. Zhijian
For my block (A-Block), thanks to Ivan who puts up a big gap for the rest of the runners. His time for the 2.2 Road Race is 8.05 minutes. My time is appx 8.40 minutes! New record for myself? haha. My last timing for 3000m obstacle in secondary school last time was 16'20'61. ( http://stiucsib86.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!F81AA4ACC2E1E176!1018.entry )... Hmm, not bad. Got to train more. Maybe set my own sub-8 record for myself next year? YEAH! must 加油!
Anyway, although our block lead for the first four rounds, but at the fifth and six round, E block and D Block's runners manage to close up and overtake us. Their last two runners were super fast. Timing all around 8 minutes (or less). So, in the end, our block got 3rd for guys! As for girls, we really do not have those zai3 runnners like the other blocks, so we got last.

KR IBG TGIO

TGIO is held every year after Inter-block Games (IBG). The KR Rockers will perform during TGIO. After the performance, Sports JCRC will announce the winner of all the events during IBG for guys and girl... and the overall winner for IBG.
Obviously, E-block is the winner. They got first for most of the events. That is why E-block is known as the "sports block" for KR! As for my block, A Block, we are always the last every year. But never mind, I can foresee that we will dominate for the coming years… *evil laugh* =p

Frisbee Carnival

Sunday, 20060903 - it is KR IBG: Frisbee Carnival!
Waterboy (Wen Keung) woke me up exactly 7am in the morning. Actually my alarm rang before he came and knocked at my door, but instead of getting up, I switched off the alarm and went back to sleep. Haha. Lazy~
Around 0730. We gathered at the lift lobby. There are only few of us came down. Most people are all burnt out from the Touch Rug Carnival yesterday. It was really tiring... Anyway, after waiting at the lift lobby for quite some time, we walked to SRC. We stoped at Cheers, YIH to buy bread along the way. Waterboy suddenly become kind and 'chia' everyone bread. Haha. =p
We practised a while after breakfast at SRC there.
Our first match was against D Block. Thanks to Swee Yong, we scored 1 point just before the final wistle. That was our first and only victory. =.='
The second match was against C Block. We lost by 1 - 0 (or 2 - 0?). The 2 goals Ronny and Waterboy scored were not counted. =.=' Ronny's forehand shot was not counted because the organiser changed the rules after the first match. Maybe its because of forehand shots are very powerful and 'dangerous'? hmm... Waterboy's shot was not counted because refree think he took 2 steps before he shoots, I think (don't really sure what happened). Well, refree's decisions are final...
Third match, against E Block, the very very enthu sports block. We lost 5 - 3. Sien... wow, the most 'interesting' part about this game is the clash between Swee Yong and one of the E Blocker (I dont know his name.. hehe). According to 'sources', the E Blocker pushed Swee Yong when he scored. hmmm, damn scary lor, Swee Yong was damn pissed off that time and scolded that fellow on the spot...and at this time, Gerald who was sitting/chatting at the side (bushes there) rushed out to watch the 'show' at the side of the court with us... haha... .
Last match, the most fun & friendly match... against B Block. The score? nil - nil, its a draw. (hmm, thanks to me, missed 2 very very SUPERB chance to score... =.=' I also dono why i missed the shots... its suppose to be very-easy-to-score chance... haih...). Anyway, bet everyone had lots of fun during the last match! Its very funny because its not a tense game. A Block and B Block played in a very friendly way... hehe... Ronny, our goal keeper (for this match only) keep on running out from the goal area to support the attackers. When B Blockers gets the frisbee, he will run back in panic to defend the goal.
