The following is an actual question given on a University of Washington
chemistry mid-term. The answer by one student was so "profound" that the professor shared it with colleagues, via the Internet, which is, of course, why we now have the pleasure of enjoying it as well :Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)? Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law (gas cools when it expands and heats when it is compressed) or some variant. One student, however, wrote the following:First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So, we need to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at which they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving. As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Most of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there is more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell. With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand proportionately as souls are added. This gives two possibilities:
1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose.
2. If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over.
So which is it? If we accept the postulate given to me by Teresa during my Freshman year that, "It will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with >you," and take into account the fact that I slept with her last night, then number two must be
true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and has already frozen over. The corollary of this theory is that since Hell has frozen over, it follows that it is not accepting any more souls and is therefore, extinct...... leaving only Heaven, thereby proving the existence of a divine being which explains why, last night, Teresa kept shouting "Oh my God."
This student got the only A of the class.

Windows XP Royal Noir + Yahoo! Widget 4 = Windows Vista
Windows XP Royal Noir Desktop Theme
Ever wonder how to change the Start Menu bar to black colour without installing additional program? Well, found a website that provide this so called, Royal Noir theme, a dark theme for Windows XP.
Follow the following link if you wish to change the standard Luna XP theme on your computer.

Yahoo! Widgets 4
Yahoo! Widgets 4 has been released today. It has been improved from the previous Widgets to the one similar to the Gadgets in Windows Vista. Why I said so? Well, its because Widgets 4 has the added a "dock" to manage all the Widgets and the black-transparent effect for the whole Widgets is similar to the black transparent used in Vista.
Enjoy!

Screwed...
Suddenly, everything got into my way. Everything become a mess.
Spent 2 whole days connecting my Lab circuit, in the end, I was forced to remove everything and reconnect them just to add 1 more chip... All because of "this is what we want you to do", the circuit works fine even without the chip leh... haih... *speechless*
Spent yesterday whole afternoon in lab to connect the circuit, in the end, I forget to submit my Programming Lab 8 Assignment, which I've completed on Sunday. Should have just submit it straight after completed. Guess I was too "greedy" for "perfection" (to submit only once to Coursemarker). I was hoping to be able to gather more info/test data from forum before submitting for the first time... WHAT THE HELL AM I THINKING?!?
Haih, things happened can never be undone...
wei... 定点来 leh!!!

20070318 update
Weather
The weather is very hot lately... although it rains sometimes during evening, around 7pm, but still morning-afternoon is very hot and dry... cannot stand it!
Badminton
Haih, I want to play badminton leh... but dancers using multipurpose hall whole day during weekend... I wonder if they have any other things to do? How is it possible for them to use whole weekend. Of course, midnight they are not using it lar...
Hmm, didn't exercise for quite sometime already. Guess fat will start to accumulate already =p haha
Picasa
Tried and install Picasa to organise photos just now. Its quite user-friendly and easy-to-use to upload photos to picasa-blogger (my main purpose). Anyway, after tried out Picasa, I realise there are quite a number of interesting pictures/photos in my comp that I forget about them already. Mainly because I forget the location I stored them.. =p
Circuit
Spent the whole Saturday to connect the whole circuit for my 2006 Lab. Hmm, completed it already. What left now is the Debugging Lab on Tuesday. Hope my circuit passes!
Birthday
Today is Adelyn's Birthday! I wonder how I know her in the first place... Ohya, choir -> msn -> blog (she seldom updates her blog... =.='). Interesting person, enjoy playing badminton a lot, REALLY A LOT!
