Samsung Galaxy Tab II and Galaxy S II pics leak out

After reading through the comments, I find this is the best that describe my impression about Samsung.
I don't care what their hardware is like, after owning a Galaxy S nothing will ever convince me to buy another Samsung product that required them to write even a single line of code. Samsung is so horrifyingly bad at software it's unbelievable... (source).

Samsung failed badly in software.

I own 2 Samsung phone - i8000 and i9000. Running on Windows Mobile and Android.

If its not XDA-developers who came out with the ROMs, lag-fix, and patches, I would have been stuck with crappy-laggy software (OS). Samsung tried too hard to come out with their own software customization, and failed most (if not ALL) of the time.

Samsung phones have good hardware specs. Seriously hope they will stop customizing phone software and let the OS-makes do their job... before many start to switch over to other vendors.

But they are excellent hardware manufacturer.

The new hardware specs for Galaxy 2
...the new Galaxy S II is just 8.49mm thick as compared to original Galaxy S’ 9.9mm. Also, the phone has a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, 1GHz dual-core CPU, Android 2.3 OS (Gingerbread), HSPA+, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and weighs just 116g... (source)

Some of the future hardware specs that looks promising.

1. IBM and Samsung announce patent cross-license agreement. - Is a 5.2GHz z196-based Galaxy S just months away?
2. Samsung Galaxy S II and 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab II confirmed for MWC - Samsung is apparently working on a 4-inch WVGA display with 3D capabilities and an intriguing "Motion UI" control scheme. The latter will allow you to pan inside Google Maps and StreetView just by the movement of your phone, as well as zoom in and out of pages by tilting the handset up and down.
